The Warriors Against Violence (WAV) program supports people who use or are at risk of using violence in their relationships.
This program focuses on accountability, behaviour change, and developing healthy relationships through culturally grounded and trauma-informed approaches.
Participants engage in group sessions and one-on-one support where they explore the impacts of their actions, build emotional regulation skills, and learn healthier ways of communicating and relating.
The program is inclusive of all genders, including LGBTQ+ community members, and welcomes both voluntary participants and those referred through the justice system or service professionals.
Cultural components such as Elder involvement, teachings, and circle-based learning are integrated throughout the program to support meaningful and lasting change.
